You folks should know that the Judge is being a little sarcastic LOL ! The turnout Saturday is proof that there are those of us that really get excited about basketball. I do think however that there is a large group ( probably a majority) that do not realize that in the grand scheme of things nationwide that basketball really IS A BIG DEAL !!! I shake my head when fans at Duke and UNC would rather watch the basketball team scrimmage than watch an ACTUAL football game ! That is totally ridiculous. I'm afraid we have a majority of Clemson fans that would rather watch a FB practice or the spring game ( which is just a GLORIFIED PRACTICE ) than an ACTUAL basketball game. Neither of those scenerios makes any sense.

It's as though people come to a message board, where they KNOW there will be a diversity of opinions, even those that are contrary to their own, and they're almost looking for ways to be offended. And yes, there are those that try to kick the hornet's nest, too, and stir up trouble, and there are opposing team's fans that come to try to tick people off. Everyone knows this, right? I don't agree with JK much, but you know what? If he really bothered me, I'd either blow past his posts or just ignore him. Life's to short to get your boxers in a bunch over opinions on a message board.

When it comes to football he's worse than a visiting coot troll. He deserves all the hate that comes his way when that happens. IMO, he absolutely despises the football program and he actually hates our fan base that loves football.
If I can get a 12 week ban for simply calling him a clown, he to should get a temporary ban for constantly calling us cultists.

If trolls, as defined above, get banned from Tigernet, bunch of folks gonna get banned.
I don’t agree with a lot of things Judge Keller says, but I have no problem with him coming on here talking junk. I’m not bothered at all to hear his opinions.

And started trashing Dabo just because he's more successful than Brownell. Him laughing at autistic people didn't help.
Clemson fans and alumni care about Clemson Basketball when there is a decent team put on the floor (as this season has shown). No one is excited about seeing a 17-16 team that isn't even in the top half of the ACC.
It's no different than when FSU football was putting out 6-6 teams and had 30k people in Doak Campbell. Doesn't matter how good the fans are - they won't show up to watch trash.

It also doesn't help that JK (it's a crime that he has soiled that good name) had HUGE holes in his line of sight. For example, only Cubs fans support a crappy team. Fans vote with their money and presence. Have a decent team and people will show up. That was proven Saturday. But I get really tired of the fans being the scapegoat for 12 years of mediocrity.
And I LOVE basketball. That's one of the reasons I quit supporting this team a couple of years ago.

If Tigs' do "something" abnormal this year, it will invalidate JK completely! Who has constantly said lack of money and attention to the program and not enough fan support are all the issues. How would he then explain a great year? But I'm sure he would find a way.

What I’ve said is that we need better and more consistent support from the administration and fans if we want to be an NCAA Tournament team on a more regular basis, be an upper echelon ACC team, and compete for ACC championships.
We’ve had several really good teams; Foster’s Elite 8, Barnes’ Sweet 16, and Brownell’s Sweet 16. Good coaching can make those special years happen on occasion, but sustaining that with our poor level of support at Clemson is unrealistic.

Put a good product on the floor and fans will come. CBB has not done that. He has had his teams play a painful to watch offense with a play to not lose mentality. I belive GN got to him and said play aggressive offense this year or else. And look what we have gotten so far this year.

The one she has besmirches that actual institution’s good name, and considering her loathe of so many of our traditions and fandom, it does them a disservice considering who they are and their audience.

Politicians in the US and other countries have deployed the same strategy. With no content, no policy initiatives, and no thought about how to govern or to improve the lives of the constituents, some politicians have hung their hat on a “hey look over here” PR strategy. Sort of like a carnival barker.
This is the basis for a lot of revenue in the world in social media.

I am one of those because I just don't care for basketball. Its just a personal preference. So its not ridiculous if I prefer to watch anything in football (my favorite) than go watch a game that I absolutely care nothing about. I hope Clemson wins all of their basketball games and I will continue to watch the final scores and the standings but I won't be watching a game and there is nothing wrong with that. Just because one person likes the game does not mean everyone else should.
