Teams will line up trying to hire him when we win the National Championship this year he will get rich.
Will he stay or Take the money?
Would Chad take the offense and run with it if he leaves?

I think he's a "right opportunity" guy. I don't believe he just wants to be head coach anywhere in D1. I'd say we have him for 3-5 years.

If the Tigers go to the national title game it will be a one and done, otherwise if there is a high scoring wide open offense, i give it 2-3 years.

He will be selective and look for a big time program with the right kind of commitment to excellence. He won't just go anywhere and if he succeeds at Clemson he will have many options. He might even wind up in the NFL as an OC.

No more than 3-years.
Kyle Richardson i.m.o is being groomed for the position. He learned from Leach, Mumme and Riley(when he was at East Carolina).
Richardson is more home-grown so to speak and is already at his dream job.

I honestly think if we win it all this year, he would be

gone, if a truly ATTRACTIVE offer opened up. Just like Brent Venables was, he is in a great situation, and does not have to jump at the first offer from a downtrodden school that comes along. He can afford to be selective, as long as we are having major success. I think it would take an offer from a major school that has had at least somewhat recent success to pry him out of here.

Depends on who comes a callin'. Not sure if he'd want to be across town from his brother at UCLA and Oregon is in year 2 of Dan Lanning (CFP champion DC). Don't see a PAC12 jump. I don't see PSU or Michigan moving on without a major controversy and an OSU will live with Day not winning the conference this season knowing the CFP expands next year so...No big jobs in the BIG10. That leaves the SEC. If Jimbo continues to struggle at Texas A&M they certainly have the money. I think that's the biggest school in the SEC that would be looking and all the others wouldn't be as competitive. Excluding the Aggies I think we have him for this year and next at least. *If Saban should ride off into the sunset after this season all bets are off. Unlike Spurrier he'd be leaving behind a strong program but who wants to fill those shoes? See Bill Curry.

No crystal ball. But expect it will be "thanks and so long" in a year or three. Lincoln became a head coach at Garrett's current age when Stoops retired. I can seen Garrett elevating Cade and the Tigers for two years and being hired for 10M+ as a HC as conference network money grows.

“Chicken/Egg” situation

If we win big with the new offense, he’ll be a hot commodity.
If we struggle, he probably will probably be consigned to the “Fluke” category.
Personally, I’m hope he’s fighting off suitors as early as next January.

I believe he’ll be here for at least 2 seasons. I’m hoping for 3 though.
But I don’t want to be critical of Dabo.

would be WHICH job and the deal with his Wife when he got her to move . Anyone with a brain knows he was already HOT and would have had them lining up if just stayed where he was at TCU. Working for Dabo and THEM Hills drew the Garrett family here.
