I don’t mean to be insensitive, but the guy legitimately looks like they found him in the Clemson life program, and somehow it’s still the least worrisome facet of our football program.
but I'm going to cut him some slack. I'm not overly concerned with him coming back next year. I think he started off really slow, and I'll credit that to never before being a DC (which we can talk about separately).
The defense has been serviceable this year. If we could put together a more complimentary game plan (offense and special teams), and not rely on the defense to bail us out game after game, I don't think we have the same negative criticism of pork chop (besides the obvious him lookin like a total gomer).
Idk...maybe I'm so pissed off at the offense and special teams side of the house, I'm giving him a pass.
We all (reasonable people) expected a drop off when BV left. BV was a bad ### mother ######. Outside of a monster/unreasonable hire, there had to be a drop off.
It's been painful at times, no doubt, but Dabo and Streeter have done everything in their power to put them in a bad position, game after game.
leaves our D tired and depleted. A turnover or two is understandable in a game, but every possession that Street’s afraid to call a pass, DJ is afraid to throw it and we do something stupid on top of that because we’ve put ourselves in a compromised position kills any possibility of solid D.

Assuming all 3 LBs come back, even with them the talent level & game experience on D is going to be waaaay down. We’re going to be in for a rude awakening when our Defense isn’t winning/keeping us in games anymore.
