The people that are calling this assault and violence are overreacting. But it is a very poor attempt at coaching. Obviously didn’t get the response from Girard he was trying to get. Might help explain the huge shooting slump he’s been in lately.

No biggie. I'm sure Girard is cool with it. Coming from a program after 3 years with a Hall of Fame coach, I'm sure he recognizes being shoved by your new coach while you're on the court in live play as a sign of greatness.
