How good is Texas High School football?

Looks pretty good at the championship game tonight. However, the announcers would be in the top tier at ESPN.

Texas high school football is HUGE! Drew Brees and Nick Foles are former quarterbacks at Cade's high school, Westlake.

Texas HS football is a trip. A great experience.

My son played in the band so I went to more football games than most people. It's a fun environment and sometimes you get to see some serious next-level talent. An NFL HOFer came to games I attended because he had two sons that played football at the school when my son attended.

At the highest levels, it gets REALLY intense. Too much for my taste. I hope Texas keeps the rules in place that do not allow NIL for high schoolers.
