Hard to say what team is going to show up.
Seeing as we're losing steam from the January hype, we may actually over-perform now that the expectations are falling -- think Tommy Bowden teams that'd win games we shouldn't as big underdogs.
And it's totally possible the team just falls flat and sputters into the off-season.
Current Optimistic thoughts: We may just miss the double-bye but win 2 games in the ACC Tourney.
Then baseball/softball success and spring football distracts the majority of the board moving forward.

Brad share a common storyline, and our fortunes in each sport have evolved similarly.
When expectations were high, DJ pretty much tanked. Expectations were through the roof his sophomore year and he really hit the skids. Heading into this past season, most had given up and were anticipating CK to rise up and take over. However, DJ shined, up until accolades came pouring in and expectations climbed, then into the crapper. When expectations waned after ND, he turned it back on, up until they grew again, then he fell back accordingly. He kept doing enough to keep his starting QB job, ultimately tanking our season.
I don't have to go into much detail on Brad's similarities here as they're painfully obvious to anyone who has followed Clemson basketball for any length of time. It's played out over the years and within the seasons, this one of course no exception.
Now that we've blown it with inexplicable losses to really bad teams, yeah, I kind of expect a successful surge ahead to finish it out, though just short, per the trend.
