It really doesn't make sense then don't use the excuse that it was late in the game and it wouldn't have mattered because we didn't get to see it in the spring game either or any game for that matter that we've been losing him it's a weird one

Have you watched our team this year? All the handoff reps matter. Practice not to fumble the handoffs.

Ridiculous answers….he needs experience throwing the ball down the field in live situations! He can practice handoffs on the practice field.

Just my thoughts, but

Gets him in the game and won’t burn a redshirt
Showing sportsmanship to run the ball, however, GT was still trying to score so I would have had no problem with passing
Doesn’t give any film for future games

I’d like to see him throw the ball too but just getting on the field in game situation reps does help his development.
