Named Al Eishbach (esh- back) and he talks just as bad or worse. But he has a ridiculously popular show.
Blows my mind. If you can’t half way pronounce words clearly I’m not listening.

I've heard his mother calls him on his birthday.
Sometimes.
Actually I've seen him a couple of times he was much less obnoxious in person.
I think most of it's just an act.
Attention gets listeners, whether it's bad or good.

I work with a guy now that was previously working at George Coleman Ford.
He said Walt is the absolute nicest guy out of the hosts off-air and is genuinely a good person (which is evident by his fund raising and shows regarding 9/11, etc.).
However, on-air/twitter he is a complete ### if you don't agree with his narrative/opinions.

I think some people do... I tried. Just cant get into listening. I usually switch to SUWS.
Walt is okay sometimes I guess.. I once tried to talk about a FSU @ UL game that he guaranteed Louisville would win. This was 2014 and FSU did look shaky at time but I tweeted to him that I thought FSU would find a way to win.
FSU did find a way to win and when I went back to tweet again about the game, I found I was blocked.
So I kind of just quit trying at that point.

I dislike him and his show for many of the reasons that have been brought up. Additionally I dislike him for the following.
1. He repeats himself too much. Yesterday he was taking about the Jay Ajayi trade and spent 5 minutes repeating the same thing.
2. He has Ramona on the air for what seems to be just to have someone to make fun of. I don't have any ill will towards her, but to be honest she doesn't belong as a "co-host" of a sports radio show because she doesn't know anything about sports. I know she is technically a producer, but she is really a co-host at this point.
3. It's a call in show, but he keeps callers on hold for a long time while he repeats himself and BSs with Ramona.
4. He has the same few callers every day. I'm not sure if it's because only those people call, or because he only takes their calls. Either way it's annoying.

I stopped listening to Walk a month or so ago.
1. His picks are average at best. No better or no worse that anyone elses yet he leads you to believe that he "slays Vegas". Wrong dude.
2. He is ALWAYS the first to recognize talent in a player. Before anyone at ESPN, etc. Walt is always the first to declare greatness.
3. Callers- every day he says "lines are jammed" or "if you have been trying to get in, now is the time. Just had one drop". If all of the Upstate is trying to call then why do we get the same 8 callers EVERY DAY?? Just got tired of hearing Joe, Matt, Ed from Honea Path, Looper, etc.

I also love when someone makes a valid point against his point and he just yells that people are wrong.
