The morbidly obese guy (Davis) will only be able to go about 40% of the plays. I think we can run some counters and A gap all other plays. He will be fine.

That's my thought as well.
He will be flopping when when we dial in the HUNH.
Then we hit them with the 1-2... Thunder and lightning!

Davis is legit. Bockhorst will more than have his hands full, he’ll need help and may not grade well. But can we wear down the UGA D by the 4th Qtr. That may be the plan.

I am just getting the UGA lurkers fired up. We will have to stretch the field until the third quarter. That is the same thing UGA did to us then they brought in Chubb off the bench and he + Gurley gutted our interior in 2014.

Lol no Davis is seriously a fat @$$…wasnt good enough to go out last season which is why he’s obviously back…oh running between the Guards will be tough because his fat @$$ doesn’t move…get outside and catch his fat @$$ in an over pursuit with a screen and he will be guzzling Gatorade’s by the 4th qtr

I remember Clemson fans saying the same thing about a certain D-lineman from Alabama in 2008. Bama destroyed us 34-10.

Oh you mean Terrance Cody? He was a lard @$$…he was an unhealthy 380 lbs on GAMEDAY in 2008 and was passed over by scouts because of his weight…he had a pedestrian NFL career of 4 seasons and was completely unimpactful in that game.

ACC last year as a guard. Nothing makes me think that will change this year.
Just hopeful that Rayburn and Trotter can develop this season in time for the CFP.

Since he is not listed on the depth chart at C, not sure we will find out.

Heard him say in an interview, "he has heard the rightfully deserved criticism" and has basically "owned it"! That tells me - he is very aware as a unit our OL him included did not perform well on the interior. Mcfadden and Carmen were solid - but you can't run outside all the time.
Those guys, the coaches, the strength coaches and everyone else close to the program knew that was a point to address during the off season!
I think he will and the rest of the Tigers OL will perform far better than what is expected of them.
We have known since Ohio State flame-basted us we needed to get tougher and more physical at the point of attack.
Nothing in this coaching staff's past leads me to believe that won't be addressed. If nothing else; I look for it to be changed. They may beat us in some other way in other words - but not in that way! I would be disappointed if so. Even with as good as Georgia is on the interior.
I think he plays well and shocks some people!
