i think Clemson and Alabama are the only complete teams.

Lsu has a nasty defense. But their offense has looked soft when I saw them. I think ND is still posing. Michigan has a better offense than defense. Any team could beat us on a given day, but outside of Alabama, I think we beat any team we are playing 9-10 times out of 10. Now, why can we match with Alabama. One is our offense, and I loved KB but I was one who thought we needed heroic qb play to be in the ballgame with them. Defensively, our starting line is likely the best in the country. However, I don't care who you are, that offensive line and the running backs for Alabama just keep beating you down. The difference? Clemson's backups aren't much of a drop off. So, we can get Huggins, XT, etc. in there and you really aren't falling way off. I think that's the difference and what Dabo understands. We don't beat Alabama by having the best first string team out there. We have a chance to beat Alabama because our second and third strings can come in and play meaningful downs and last til the end of the game. I think LSU matches up fro 1-2 quarters against Alabama. But, I think their offense is too weak to compete.

Their defense definitely is not good, but I think they have the potential to get us into a wild shootout game kind of like they did to Georgia in the Rose Bowl last year.

LSU might not be able to score double digits against our defense - I would love to play them in the CFP. I think we would just out-talent ND on both sides of the ball. Michigan's defense is legit and would be a big challenge for our offense, but i don't think they could score on us either. Ohio State has an elite QB and a good passing game, but they can't run the ball at all this year (which is really strange) and their defense just isn't very good.

I'm not sure what to make of Georgia right now. I think we are just better than them this year, but they don't have any glaring weaknesses like most of the other teams.

I guess i would rank the potential playoff teams (in terms of potential difficulty) like this:

1) Bama
2) OU
3) UGA
4) Michigan

Outside of Bama i would be most worried about Oklahoma
