Going to Doak Campbell for the first time. For those that have been before, how were you treated?

In 1989 they were very nice as we dominated them.

Score was not indicative of of the way we dominated. They got a late score against reserves to make it more respectful. After game fans were very complimentary of our team.

Overall they aren't too bad but like to talk trash, especially after a day full of drinking. If they win you won't hear the end of it until you get out of Tally. I have always been treated well there other than the trash talk though. Nice town too.

"spilling" beer on the Clemson section the first time I was there. Last time we sat away from the party barge section and it was fine.

consistantly, FSU is the only place I have been to that cups of urine were thrown on opposing fans, one was a young girl that looked to be about 7-9 years old. I went in 89 and in 2000 I believe it was. Most of their fans are nice, but a segment are as rude and obnoxious as any in the nation. A large segment @ that

Never even heard such drivel anywhere. We have no upper decks and such would not even be possible where opposing fans sit. Complete, utter, blatant BS.
I've traveled to dozens of games, been to CU 6 times, and all real traveling fans know experiences are singular. You can see the good and the bad.i've seen it at CU.
This thing about cups of urine is total ########. You sir, are a liar.

An even better question is how much do both our schools REALLY need the ACC???.....but, $50 million dollars kinda makes it a pointless discussion these days

I don't know if you're replying to me, but what I stated about the urine is a true story. We even went with two FSU grads. I left out the part of people in your face yelling and cursing after the game. I've heard that things are calmer down there since y'all have been humbled by losing and not winning an ACC championship since 2004. This occured at the 54-7 beatdown w/ Wenke . I said it was a segment, but it's all true. I'm not on here to have a pissing contestn w/ you or anyone else. Someone asked a questioned and I answered honestly. I'll never go back. I've been to Sakerlina's Willie B dozens of times over the years and have never been disrespected once. It speaks VOLUMES to me about a segment of your fanbase. Instead of calling someone a liar and defending these scumbags, your secutiry that witnessed this and did NOTHING should care about your university's reputation more. I'm sure other Clemson and opposing schools' fans have nightmare stories, what I witnessed couldn't have been an isolated incident. 80k in the stands, 65k FSU fans, @ least 1k ########, maybe a minority, but I have never witnessed thiswide spread bad bbehavior outside of Athens, Ga

I'll leave you w/ this, I'm a 48 y.o. father of 3, an my youngest son is a freshman @ Clemson. I'm not some kid spewing malicious BS. GFY. Anyone that wants to read my comments for the sincere comments they are, fine, anyone that wants to think otherwise, that's fine too. I don't blame you for wanting to defend your school, it still doesn't change factual events. I left out the part of what ARROGANT ##### you guys were, and even more so since you started losing. This much everyone on this board will attest to.

I've been an FSU fan my whole life. I've interacted with opposing fans my whole life. I've been on this board for 14 years. Our hated rivals will say any vile thing they can imagine about us, and do. And even Gators have never, ever, claimed our fans tossed urine on visitors.
Anyone who says such a thing is a stone cold lair.

Never had one problem @ Willie B and have been going there since I was a kid in the 70's. That could've changed, haven't been to there since the 63-17 beatdown. You want to see bad fans, go to Georgia, Maryland and FSU

I find that with almost every team you have two types of fans. Those who are looking to have a good time, and those who are looking for a reason not to. In Clemson, I think the former out weighs the latter, but we have those looking to be rude and start stuff too.
While I have run into fans in Tally who can be rude and want to start stuff, usually the noles are very welcoming. Wish I was heading down there again this year. Have a fun and safe trip
