with the likes of Dale Davis, Elden Campbell, and Horace Grant; all 13 year (+) NBA guys.? Man…would kill to have one of those dudes…no offense, And….how did we get those guys in the first place??

One of the recruiting geniuses, Emfinger , I believe said Dale Davis would never be an impact player in the acc

Davis was at least right outside the top 100 player coming out of GA. A lot of SEC schools wanted him.

You forget that was some of the best years of the ACC with Duke, NC State, Carolina and Maryland all being National Powers. We have been to the NCAA Tournament 13 times and have lost in 7 of those years and made it out of the 1st weekend only 4 times so that is not a great history. There is not no way to this but history could have very easily changed if U Conn had missed the last second shot in 1990.

No single shot had as big an impact on the Clemson program as that one.
