how cold can it get before a dog is cold?

my half husky has brought me her leash three times this morning, once she even took it out the doggie door with her.

And no she doesn't want a walk, she wants to ride in the truck with her head out the window.

Her sister will go for ride also, but she stands on the center console and looks out the front window when its chilly. She hasn't bothered her leash this morning.

The sun finally came back out this morning and showed its leaf for about 3-4 hours. It was glorious -6 at the time. Now we probably won't see it again till late this week. Supposed to snow 3-4 days and rain 2 days when the temps come up. It's snowed every night the past 10 days. It's insane.

This is the absolute worst time of year for me. January and February can suck it. Can't run outside, can't take the kiddo outside to play. It sucks.

My dog stays outside during the day

regardless of the temp. I have a kennel with a blanket over it. It is pretty warm inside there. I've tried to keep him in in these cold temps but he won't have it. I do take him in after dark.
