This is why I laugh to myself when people on this board think we have a shot at the playoffs. We don't, and these rankings prove it. We had destiny in our own hands. We were favored in every game we played so any loss was always going to take us right out of it unless everyone in front of us absolutely imploded, which isn't likely to happen.

Rank inflation, they validate their ranking by beating each other. They are over rank to start the season so that’s how you end up with four teams from the same conference in the top 10 it’s ridiculous

at all for lackluster wins. LSU squeezed by an Arkansas team that just lost to Liberty but it's deemed a good win because its the SEC rather than a struggle.
