Got a second offer on my house last night. Full asking price Str8 ca$h hommie. People are from the west coast. Gotta move out in like 30 days. Then I'll be homeless. Anyjuan got room for me? I'll need my own private bathroom as I take a lot of #####.

One extra bedroom and a bath.

joetigerny has a nice little place in the basement and it comes with a swing. He's maybe just a few miles away from you in Greer, NY.

lutz, semen

This is my fear, I want to list our house but we are not quite ready to move. Is interim housing hard to find? I think we will be ready to move in May. I am impatient and would move tomorrow but wife says it is a bad idea.

can't be too hard

Aug 19, 2022, 9:58 AM

Ineligible user has been in interim housing for years

I may not make it "interim".

Aug 19, 2022, 10:21 AM

I kinda like having a bank full of cash and not giving a #### about the house I'm in. It's a pretty comforting feeling. And when I get really tired of it, I'll just go somewhere else.

Well, I'm at an impasse.

Aug 19, 2022, 10:35 AM

My wife doesn't want to leave Mt Pleasant, I can't afford $30K/year of insurance in the keys, and I'm really tired of looking at houses only to be outbid or watch it go off market.

All in all, I don't really care any more.

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Use all that cash you said you had and buy something

Aug 19, 2022, 10:39 AM

in West Ashley

Nope.

Aug 19, 2022, 10:42 AM

Not living in West Nasty. Sadly, there have been some nice looking houses come up for sale over there that I could pay cash for, but I'm not ready to have everything stolen yet.

I briefly contemplated James Island, but really, that's just Summerville by the sea.

I did get pretty serious about a place on Oak island near Folly last week, but the owner "knows what she has", and will continue to sit on it for a while.

So when the french were you going to ask our opinion

Aug 19, 2022, 9:57 AM

on colors for vinyl siding, linoleum flooring, and laminate countertops?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Burnt Orange and NW purple on everything

Aug 19, 2022, 10:01 AM

just like a real fan.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

How long are you planning on it staying "transitional"?

Aug 19, 2022, 10:24 AM

Short term (<6 months) is a PIA to find.

Year long stuff will be easier to find, but you have a slew of kids so it won't be cheap.

Moving is the worst part.

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Prolly sign a 12 monther since new house won't probably be

Aug 19, 2022, 10:45 AM

ready until next July.

I can't even fill out online applications because previous rental history is required and I don't have any, except a one year rental like 13 years ago or so that I don't even remember.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I had teh same thing happen when I moved to the beach

Aug 19, 2022, 10:46 AM

Just explain you've been owning since then and just sold. They'll just look at your credit rating, and if you have ~10K to give them for first month, last month and sec deposit.

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I gotta give them $10K to rent??????***

Aug 19, 2022, 2:13 PM

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Maybe more.

Aug 19, 2022, 2:16 PM

I had to give the owner of this dump like $7K. Since I don't plan on cleaning jack #### when I leave, I'll probably lose about 1500K of that. I had almost $10K wrapped up in IOP to move in. I ended up getting a most of that back..but he he held onto it for 18 months.

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

If I have to put down $10K to rent a house literally

Aug 19, 2022, 2:19 PM

half the size of mine that's right down the road on top of paying $200 more a month for it, I better be getting a free cocksucking everyday with it.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

haaaa..The rent is too dammm high

Aug 19, 2022, 2:25 PM

And it's only going up.
