You won a national championship in a sport that has become very popular in the last few years.
I'm proud of Clemson's success in all the other places where we have excelled. I consider us to be head and shoulders above the chickies in most areas. Even so, I wish we had won this one too.
The fans on this board who insist on running down a big accomplishment is not a good look for us.

I think maybe that gal from Iowa is all that's popular about WBB, and when she leaves, the hype will leave with her.
I know because today I picked up "The Prince of Tides" and before I knew it, I was 120 pages in, the WBB championship was over, and I hadnt watched a second.

Long before the coots found around 8 or so of the 35-40 women that can actually play the sport with high school boys level proficiency, I didn’t really think much of it other than a nice opportunity for girls.
Women’s tennis, soccer, gymnastics, and volleyball are more entertaining to me personally, but I don’t really follow enough sports to ever watch it. I honestly don’t think its a big deal at all, outside of the context of women’s basketball, regardless of how hard ESPN pushes it.
