Best cereal?

Mar 29, 2017, 9:46 AM

I used to think Sugar Smacks (or whatever its called now since they can't say "sugar" any more) but if I'm eating cereal, it's Cap'n Crunch with the red berries.

2nd best is Fruit Loops.

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

this is understandable

Mar 29, 2017, 9:55 AM

my kids haven't really seemed to get into the 'sugary' cereals (though, they have with every other kind of food)

We usually stock up on Trader Joes's versions of regular Cheerios, Bran Flakes & Rice Krispies...Puffins, and every now and then Special K 'fruit & yogurt', and Special K Vanilla Almond (which would be my vote for best cereal)

Fruity Pebbles is worst with Cookie Crisp either tied or a close 2nd-worst

anything fruit and yogurt sounds terrible***

I could put down an entire box of that Vanilla Almond in one sitting

mostly because they are small boxes

my BiL gave me the 2-pounder (l0l) for my birthday a year or 2 ago...luckily I have some semblance of willpower and self respect, otherwise I would've worn that bag like a feedbag and eaten myself into a marshmallowy coma

though the new Cinnamon FFs are very good (but just a passing phase I'm afraid).

I opt for Apple Jacks sometimes just to change it up.
Rarely stray from those two.

And I have cereal 4-5 times a week, because uninterested in cooking. And I LIKE cereal and milk.
