Took the wife out for a nice meal.
Had arugula salad, crab chowder soup, Grilled New York Strip with mushroom topping, and potato skin fries, desert was flour less
chocolate cake with
strawberries and blueberries. Red wine and Also, specialty coffee with bailey's Irish creme to wash it all down.
Yummy for the tummy.
Wife had same except lobster.

Took my Valentine to Black Creek Bistro and had the Valentine menu. Crawfish and country ham egg rolls and chopped salad for openers, then shrimp fettuccine and broccolini in parm cream sauce for her, seared duck breast in cherry demiglace with sweet potato puree for me. Strawberry chocolate cheesecake for dessert.
First time eating there but won't be the last. Incredible.

Some Asian Chicken -
Boneless, skinless chicken thighs marinated in soy sauce, sweet Thai chili sauce, fresh lime juice, fresh garlic crushed and chopped, and pepper . . . then seared for a few minutes on each side and layered in a casserole dish with sliced onions . . . Covered and baked for 25 minutes.
Served over brown rice with a bit of drippings, a side of rutabagas and fresh cucumbers and sliced tomatoes . . . My bride had pepper vinegar atop her rutabagas . . . I prefer mine neat.
Dessert??? Still wanting my cheesecake . . . but you probably know what it’s going to be.
