I stopped by a new restaurant on the way home from work that specializes in southern fried fish and chicken, but when I got there things were in disarray due to new business growing pains and a storm knocking out their computer system for placing orders.
When I heard someone in line comment that you had to pay first, and then write down your order on paper, I decided to leave. On the way to my car, a man standing outside the entrance mentioned that he had ordered an hour prior, and his order wasn't ready.
All of this is in the middle of a severe storm with hail, heavy rain, thunder, and lightning. Getting home was quite the adventure. Fortunately, I am safely home now, but had not thought about plan b for dinner.

Late to the “supper call”, but we had lemon pepper pan seared, thin sliced, center cut pork loins, Perlo rice (chicken stock, butter and onions), fresh corn on the cob and seared fresh cauliflower in pork drippings with more lemon pepper and a squeeze of fresh lemon at completion.
Lemon bars for dessert . . .
Had to feed the bride well before pulling an early trip to Tigertown in the morning. Cya in the Valley!!!
