Nothing against Brownell and I know no one is perfect and eveyone makes mistakes. I'm waiting to see if B. B. has conquered closing in a "pressure cooker" game. Too many bad decisions and chokes in the past.
I'm cautiously optimistic and wish nothing but success for Brownell and the Tigers.

he's just not the right coach for us. He has 1 good team of his own in 13 years? If you want to be in the middle to the bottom of the pack every year then he's your man. If you want to be at the top year in and year out, nah. Face it, he has a old team that has been in his system a long time. They should be winning. But I have seen his teams fold in the late year runs all too often. I will always support our coaches and players in all sports, so I wish them nothing but success. I want to be competitive every year not just once in a while. With that said:

Extremely glad that the team is winning despite Brad. I love all Clemson sports and want them all to be great. What I'm not looking forward to is a great run, contract extension because he was able to do his job for 1 year, and then we drop back to 10-12th in the league for 3-4 years.

2 out of 13 is not a good batting average. I hope this year will help for future years but 2 decent years and 11 not so hot is not getting it done. Glad to see how this year is turning out so far. Hope Brownell does not screw it up. This team can play.

Didn’t we have some record number of ACC wins before our early exit to Morehead St.? After 14 years I’ve learned not to get my hopes up, started to last year. I enjoy the wins as they come now and don’t get too upset at the losses anymore.

I have always liked Brad! What I don't like is posters telling others that they are not a real fans if they don't like him (as a coach) and then using the football program to try and drive a wedge between football and basketball fans.
