i was always told that years ago when the team finished the fall camp, that a player or 12 would jump into the moat to celebrate...was that true and so they ever do that anymore?

Nope. And it was usually done the last practice of bowl week.... They would swim across on their way back to Jervey to the old locker rooms. No need now. Haven't seen it since maybe Dalton Freeman's last year
