NOT:
bishing about my salary
complaining about recertification (except when I have to spend too much $$ on it)
ashamed that I can go on vacations while you have to work and make more money than I do
etc.

If you are flexible on your dates I may have something in the vicinity going down there and would be able to help you out on the way back.
Most people move around the end of the month to avoid having two payments or to ditch their landlords. That is why rental trucks are MUCH more expensive around those times. They are also higher at the end of spring semester for colleges because of higher demand.

I have never heard someone complain more about their job than this woman. She is 27 or so and she works year round school, so she gets two weeks off every three months or so. She was offered a higher paying job in the school system, but turned it down because she "loves" teaching.
She has some massive EE ####### on an athletic body.. so that's the only positive thing about her.

important profession there is out there. They single handily have an influence of every single child in a very impressionable period of their youth. But, at the same time, you get time off, you work shorter hours (on the clock at school, not including grading) and PERSONALLY (no bad vibes shot at those teachers among us), it seems like a relatively easy job other than dealing with ###### kids all #### day long.
Do they deserve more funding for classroom stuff? Probably. But where is that money going to come from is my first question.

by firing some of the worthless busy bodies that work at the district level and getting rid some administrative positions. We had like 5 guidance counselors, only one of which actually helped students.

most teachers are women
so...
Wife is a teacher (former teacher...she stay at home mom now) and you get a group of teachers together and they can bitsh all night. It gets old real quick.
It's not an easy job and it takes the right kind of person to be good at it (like most other jobs)...but the bitshing is universal.
