Cootlumbia mayor steve benjamin driving drunk and causing an accident and using his position to blame it on an elderly woman. Cooties if your looking for a traffic scandal, there is a real one right there. Here is another scandal, cootlumbia may steve benjamin blaming gangbangers (who don't hangout in 5 points) for the violence in 5 points after SCU games, when it's the scu students who are the cause of the violence. steve benjamin won't place blame where it really lies, with the white trash scum that SCU admits into their so called "university". The city of cootlumbia needs to hold SCU accountable for its white trash scumbag students and alumni that have turned cootlumbia into a cesspool.

that seems to be the problem- gangbangers walking the streets of 5-points loooking for a fight. these gangs are affiliated with organizations such as Benedict College, the Bloods, and The University of South Carolina Athletic Program, among others.

The officer lost all creditability when he posted that information on a message board. His attorney must be looking for publicity, because that violated privacy laws, and he may be counter sued successfully.

They actually arrested someone from benedict for the recent fight so I dont think it was a USCjr student. And if you've ever been to five points there are plenty of people who don't attend USCe there. See you at newspring.

made, there's a lot more problems going on in Columbia, specifically Five Points than the " white trash scum ' I've read articles on beatings, robbings and other over the past few years and it specifically states and depicts otherwise. Let's just be honest here and I hope they get the problem corected for decent people of all races.

I took JCC's post to be more tongue in cheek. Meaning when someone calls a situation for what it is or isn't, someone will cry racism. He could even be implying that the original poster was racist w/ his " white thugs ' remark. I firmly believe that if a white person called a " black thug" that was out causing violence against any race of people, 99% of all black people would agree w/ the statement. The problem is, the media will interview the dumbest white, black or other race of people for ' better viewing " and it certainly doesn't represent the vast majority of what a certain race believes, or it's principles and values. W/ that said, Columbia has it's share of black thugs, white trash and other problems. It would be impossible not to w/ that influx of people, but it certainly doesn't represent any race of people. It's indidual turds, sometimes many turds in a group
