Injuries.. fake or real

Sep 1, 2013, 10:38 AM

While I totally understand the feeling that we think injuries are fake, especially when they come when our tempo is killing a defense, are we okay booing every opposing player everytime they are on the ground.

We sure dont want to be the fanbase that boo a guy who just just broke his neck or similar.

Thoughts?

There is a major difference! Virtually all the injuries seem to occur when we're up tempo! Of course we wouldn't boo a player when he was seriously injured but look at the kid who was "injured" in front of our bench. He went to sit up and the trainer gently pushed him back down. You're naïve if you think these are real injuries. They are clearly designed to slow us down!,

Oh I am not saying all these were real.. I felt like many were fake or overblown.. I am just saying at some point, some kid is going to actually have a real injury and then we will all be booing him. Just curious what others thought about it.

Yes. When a player is walking perfectly fine, then drops to

ground, I will boo.

There's something in these hills.

Saw a video circulating on Facebook

Where someone captured one of the UGA "injuries" on their tv. Two defensive players standing up after the play is over and one taps his teammate on the shoulder who then falls to the ground causing an injury time out.

Link is below.

Might be easier to tell what was going on if the video clip was longer but it looks as Leonard Floyd (84) is looking to the sidelines to get the signal for the next play and is then just completely exhausted to the point where he fell down... Seems suspicious.

Wait until the "injured" player runs back in after one play and boo your freaking head off. Maybe create a chant to shame them afterwards.
