Absolutely, and this shows why Dabo is successful.

He is a top notch CEO. He knows how to run an organization, and I honestly believe he could do the same for GM or Microsoft.

Let's dial it back a little.
He does a very good job with our football program. Let's not try to apply his success with recruiting and managing a 100-200 person entity (when all personnel, etc is included) with managing companies who have work forces that are 125,000 and 219,000 strong, respectively, and have market caps of $54 billion and $355 billion.

name in the hat for one of those jobs. He does an amazing job with every aspect of Clemson's program, though, and he definitely has a CEO approach to the job.

I agree with that. He's definitely the CEO-type....just thought it was a bit aggressive to suggest he could do the same thing at a multibillion dollar international company.

It would probably be easier running a multinational corporation than to be the coach of football program with sky-high expectations, in a sense. Henry Ford admittedly wasn't the brightest guy in the world, but he hired the brightest.

It really wouldn't. It's not even debatable.

Henry Ford----not smart?

Is that like not bright----like albert einstein was not bright.
The guy just invented and pushed through the beginnings of the modern assembly lines. The first to make and sell autos in volume. The model T ford put the US on wheels---similar situation to Ferdinand Porsche and the "peoples car" volkswagon.
and a guy like you says he is not smart?
Do you have some sort of amazing feat or successes you can talk about--or is burger king your forte?

HF didn't actually conceive of the industrial assembly line.

He contracted people who learned about it from Ransom Olds who was inspired by the Chicago meat-packing industry and applied their ideas to car-making. He was a very intelligent delegator though.

I'm afraid dabo cant beat spurrier or Jimbo. Until he does that---he is a failure.
High recruiting stars and 8-10 wins against "the sisters of the poor" don't mean anything to me. If he can't beat SC and Fla State he needs to move on down the line

In due time. In... due... time...
If he hasn't done both in 2 years starting now, then I will be with ya, but you have to understand that he has had to build our backbone back and contend with 2 great coaches who had to do the same but had a head start.

You would think the best duo in football would fair better against a rival then these two.
Grrat coaches no doubt, but when it comes down to playing USuC they choke!!!!

Again, patience... Gotta let them catch up to the Spurrier years of experience a little more. He got a head start.
