I’m assuming your plan was to fly into South Bend from O’Hare and pick up a rental car today and that renting. In Chicago is not an option.

Get to Millennium Station and take the South Shore train all the way to the SB airport. To get to Millennium Station from ORD, take an Uber/Taxi or the Blue Line train (station in OHare) to Washington station and walk three short blocks to Millennium station. Millennium Station is by Millennium Park where the famous “bean” sculpture is located.

Lastly, you could take a Coach bus
