He should be. With his history here if he loses in the first game of the ACC tournament, with this team, he should be gone. I realize they will let him coach the NCAA tournament game but if we lose to bc tonight, does anyone really think we win the next game?

Shouldn’t you be concerned that a top program like Louisville might come after a top coach like Brownell. This post makes no sense. Unless, of course, you actually realize Brownell is not the caliber coach that Louisville would pursue.

This isn't a direct response to you Viz, and I'm not directly comparing the two situations other than putting them in this post, but there are other reasons beside W/L as to why CBB still has a job at Clemson. Money being one of them. Do you think Clemson wants to swallow the buyout for CBB and pay another coach? What happens if they end up with a Kenny Payne and pay another buyout after two years? Clemson is not the type of athletic department flush with enough cash to constantly pay buyouts for basketball coaches (the high money donors like CBB). Again, two years is not fourteen years. I readily admit that. But, the money is something that an AD like Neff must consider. Right now, you're on back-to-back 20+ wins and going to the NCAAT this year. I do think CBB must continue to produce. Neff has fired the WBB coach and baseball coach. I don't think he's afraid to fire someone

The only coach from SC on their list is the Charleston coach (Pat Kelsey). Based on that list UL is looking for a bigger fish than BrownL! Not even on the radar.
