I'll take TL's sophomore slump over just about anybody else, esp when backed up by Chase and Taisun.
They'll get the kinks worked out by post-season.

Its just the int's. He is staring down his wr's. He will be coached out of that habbit. He threw some other passes that should have been intercepted as well. He will fix those mistakes though. When he plays just okay for him, his overall numbers are still good.

He didn't stare down that first int and the second he just thought the defender was drifting outside and that he could fit it in there. He did have a bad completion percentage but that's because most passes were 50/50 deep balls because of the man coverage with no help over the top. Still doesn't look as sharpe as the Bama and ND game but it's still early and we are kicking a$$.

Nope. They had a downfield camera view of his face and he was looking at the middle of the field (probably looking off a safety). It just took too long to throw to the spot his WR was with the DB right there with him. DB made a nice physical play to ###### it. The other INT was atrocious though.

I saw it differently. I saw him stare the wr down. That said, for sake of argument, It was a bad pass either way and the db was all over it. It should have never been thrown.

This year he's a national champion instead of a freshman trying to win the starting job.

When you mouth off about TL's performance remember these stats:
DW 4 Career Passing Stats
2014 - 8 games with 14 TDs and 2 INts
2015 - 15 games with 35 TDs and 13 INTs
2016 - 15 games with 41 TDs and 17 INTs
A Natty loss and a Natty win, plus #1 Draft choice.
Do you think D Coordinators dont make adjustments? Well they all do. They're are none as good as BV but they're good or they wouldn't be there.
Go climb back in your hole Coot!

I would think by now people would learn that our offense is going to look out of sync for the first 3-4 weeks. It has happened every year under the Scott/Elliott regime, but it becomes hell on wheels when it gets going.

If I remember correctly, this one QB in his junior year...

...came into the season with HUGE expectations. He under-threw lots of what appeared to be wide-open 1st down opportunities. He threw (seemingly) a lot of interceptions. He QB'd a loss at home to an unranked team. ..... He also lead his team with poise and class and threw an uncatchable (perfect) ball to JL16 and then an absolute strike to HR13 to seal a national championship. I'll take that every season and I like this TL16 kid.

He isnt the qb he was last year. He has a year of exp. He has a ton of expectations on him...hes supposed to win the heisman and be the overall 1st pick in the NFL. Hes trying to be perfect for his teammates. Hes trying to throw tds on every play. The kid has a huge target. I think hes doing fantastic for a 19 year old kid with the careers of a lot of coaches in his hands. As someone else said, there is also a year of film on him now. Defensive coordinators are going to adjust. Thats their job. Tamu and Cuse put EVERY WAKING MOMENT INTO STOPPING HIM. This was their target game. And he still whooped both of them. It wasnt perfect, but i guarantee you, both TL and the coaches are getting him ready for the next game. As far as im concerned, i hope he stays focused on the team and not the heisman. When was the last time the heisman winner won a NC? I also guarantee you that we have all gotten used to exceptional QB play. When things arent perfect, some fool is going to start making comments. Go sit back down before you like an idiot. Oh wait, you already opened your mouth.

When TL loosens up and puts all the preseason expectations and hype completely behind him and the pieces all start clicking together, watch out. The Tiger offense is capable of laying a 1000 yards on somebody.
