having read the article detailing the complaint ...

Apr 18, 2014, 11:41 AM

I am even more certain that the FFRF has no argument and, furthermore, they are completely aware they have no argument. They are looking for a platform to gain publicity and attention. They already know they would lose a court battle or they would have gone to court with the other schools they issued these same letters to in the past.

I am really glad Clemson University issued an official response instead of Dabo or the football team doing so. This shows the entire university is "All In" with Dabo and that the FFRF picked a fight with a much bigger group than just the football team.

Now I hope Dabo, the football team, and Clemson simply never bring the issue back up and continue with business as usual. This eliminates the platform for attention they were looking to gain in the first place.

The name of the organization prevents them for having any creditable argument. The constitution gives us the right to freedom of religion it does not say freedom from religion.
