It's a year old but pretty sound in approach and shows why either the B12 or SEC should be interested in Clemson.

Guy makes a solid case not just for Clemson

but for how conference expansion should work.

I have a feeling that too many people focus on common sense without looking at the hard data.

If his numbers are correct - or even close to correct, Clemson is going to be fine no matter what happens. And our outstanding season this year only increases our bargaining power, especially if we can win this weekend and pick up an at-large BCS bid.

Clemson University owns more land than any other University in the country, (I think) thanks to Thomas Green Clemson.
Combine that with many solid academic programs, (both at
the undergraduate & graduate level) and a diverse portfolio of successful athletic programs. I think Clemson is
in a good position. The only thing that could be holding Clemson back would be financial issues. (I'm not sure what the Universities cash flow is)
