Have we gone from locker room nay nay to

Corporate driven shareholder results based football with a CEO coach instead of a Ted Lasso?

I don't see the joy on the field.

Dabo has always said that the fun is in the winning.

After Saturday night, things aren’t fun for anyone right now.

Actually, I think most would agree with your take.

It's not so much that we lost; it's how we lost, beginning with the opening seconds.

There was no fire whatsoever within our team; the staff seemed lost with the prime evidence being the desparation move to insert Cade, only to remove him quickly.

At one point in the first half, I yelled, "For God's Sake, call a timeout, get the entire team in a huddle and start reading the Riot Act...No holds barred!" He1l, a blind man could have seen what was about to happen!

No fire whatsoever. In contrast, I watched UGA in pregame and during the game and there was a collective intensity and fire that was evident, even on the TV screen (tough for me to give those guys a compliment). We used to be like that and I wish we could get back there very soon. If you can't show that level of intensity 12+ days a year, you should move on.

Coach needed to call a TO on ND drive in 1st half…..

Nov 8, 2022, 9:37 AM [ in reply to Actually, I think most would agree with your take. ]

For multiple reasons…

1- At that point, it was still 7-0.
2- ND was putting together a massive drive that we weren’t stopping.
3- Sometimes we are good near goal line, but a TO was needed to set up for what they might do…but coach did not see the need for a TO.
4- If you hold them to FG…10-0 is better than 14-0
5- There would have been time to theoretically do a little bit offensively. We left no time for anything.

But instead we took 3 timeouts into halftime.
To me, it showed a lack of awareness by the coaching staff. Sure, they might have scored anyway. But at that point, minus the blocked punt, it was basically a defensive struggle and coaches needed to play it that way.
