If NcSt wins on Saturday, does that knock Clemson out ? I mean, they have to accomodate the new guy … maybe knock off a play in team and Clemson gets the play in ?

If Tigers were a bubble team, then upset AQ’s (conference champs) would be a concern.
Our last 2 weeks were ugly, but hopefully still in the 8 seed area.

I would think one of them gets in…but it is very close.
Note how Tennessee & Kentucky laid down nice & easy for Miss. State & Texas A&M…just to ensure it means more bids (8) for the SEC.
If the ACC ends up with only 3 bids…that would be really sad. I’m far from a conference homer…but there’s no way that’s right.

Pitt and UVA have to worry about NC State taking their spot but we are easily in. Though Pitt and UVA shouldn’t have to be sweating and neither should Wake

on the Selection Committee, and it came down to us vs Nancy's Tate right now, THEY would get the nod. I would want teams in my Tournament that are playing well, and they certainly fit that bill more than us.
The narrative that ESPN has spun that downgraded the ACC to the point that we will only get four teams in, and maybe even only THREE by some projections, is just ludicrous. Again, if I were on the Selection Committee, the ACC would get SEVEN bids, minimum. North Carolina, Duke, Virginia, Pitt, Clemson, Wake Forest, and Syracuse would ALL be in, with 20 or more wins and winning conference records to boot. And, that doesn't even take into account the ACC Tourney run that has GOTTEN NC State over the 20 win plateau. If the Wuffies somehow DO take the ACC Tourney and the automatic bid, it WILL spell trouble for another ACC team, and that team would most likely be CLEMSON.

Clemson is 99% in - it's almost inevitable at this point.
Clemson caught fire early and despite an up and down ACC run that ended in a disappointing manner they're most likely going to the big dance. No amount of message board ranting and raving is going to change it.
Now, could a disappointing one and done potentially be the nail for Brownell? Potentially. Honestly, I thought we were gonna have Leggett one more year in baseball when they made the playoffs which ended in a similar way...but Raddy sent him packing.
We'll see soon. Brad or not, I'm pulling for Clemson to do well and let the cards fall as they will.

Is better represented. They lose and ACC may be looking at 3 bids.
NCSU ended the regular season by losing 7 of 9 games. The only two games they won.... @Clemson and Boston College. Lol, can't make this stuff up.
