Headed out to west coast for work

like I do every other Wed for a week. My family celebrated our Thanksgiving yesterday, and I am grateful for that... but seeing all these happy folks going home while leaving my own family to go and take care of people in the ICU who are having the worst time of their lives really is striking me harder today than normal.

There is literally a world wide travel advisory, which also gave me pause this morning before boarding my plane.

I know its rivalry week, but I just want to take a moment and sincerely remind everyone how good we have it. I'm so thankful for my loving and healthy family and friends, this sometimes wacky but always wonderful country I won the "lottery ticket" to be born in, the people that will also be away from family to protect it, and our quirky little space on the interwebs that is tigernet where we can pump or dump all things Clemson Tigers.

To all, be safe, be loving, be awesome, and Happy Thanksgiving.

"Clemson looks alright, but what would happen if they played Auburn or Alabama?"

Politely, I reminded him Clemson beat Aub 2/3 times and Aub was lucky to get that one. Left such a bad taste in their mouth they wanted another chance, hence our upcoming home and home..

A lady listening said, "but what about Bama?"

Me: Their loss came to the 2nd string QB kicked off the Clemson team.. Nick Saban is smart, but I like our chances.

Love the interest in our squad.
