And I didn’t know why for years. We got to talking a while back about stuff that was around when I was a kid and Pinner came up. Out of nowhere, "#### Joe Pinner" erupts from my dad’s lips. So of course, I finally asked him why he can’t stand the man.

Apparently when my brother and I were really young, the family ran into him at the State Fair, he was just hanging around doing WIS obligations I guess. And since both of us loved watching Mr Knowzit, my dad tried to introduce us and get him to say hello. As my dad puts it, he just walked away, didn’t say a word.

That was around 40 years ago. Papagrouching knows how to hold a grudge.

Mr Knowzit was pretty cool and was nice when I met him, but I preferred the edgy J.P. Sidewinder although he seemed a bit pervish.
