Handicapped Transportation Lot 2..?

Aug 3, 2014, 4:48 PM

New to us this year, we need to find a way to get someone from Lot 2 to the gate for each game. He can walk, but not easily, and his energy would need to be conserved for him to walk from gate to seat. So if I could get him a golf cart ride or something to the gate, it would help.

Also, if anyone has 2 tickets near the portal in L,M,N, or O... We would trade our 2 (sec N row BB, which is about half way down) so that he doesn't have to walk steps.

Anyone know of any ideas?

Handicap was right there at the Hendrix building. But where ever it is, you get to ride the shuttle bus. They will take you to the gate, and pick you back up there every hour and after the game I'm pretty sure of. You will have to have a handicap parking placard or handicap license plate. And the parking is free including your handicap wrist ban. Great tailgating there also.

We want him to still be in Lot 2, we all park there together. He's parked there for 20+ years, so trying to pull off 1 more year! Just getting to gate will be problem. May not work, but gonna try!!

Catch one of the golf carts that ride people to where they want to go.

golf cart. You can get it by calling the IPTAY or ticket office. We have used it twice from Lot 10 after surgeries. We weren't going to miss Clemson football. :)

I have s similar problem with my father-in-law who is 101 yrs old. Until this year we have parked in lot 1. He can get to his seat once in the stadium (UL row d), but cannot walk from the parking lot to the stadium. Supposedly, you can let the parking attendants know and they will contact someone to come pick him up. We tried this but were told they would not come into the lot, so you had to get to the street. This may have changed now.
We found the best solution was to use a wheel chair. It works very well, and we are not dependent on waiting on someone else. Hope this helps. I cannot help with the seating change.

Store for about $175. I actually have a brand new one a friend gave me for my mom but its too big for her short legs to scoot around herself. She'd be willing to sell it for $100. Let me know if you are interested. It's a really nice one, and has hand brakes for whoever is pushing.
