Blackberry Smoke at the Charleston Music hall--crystal clear sound and technically identical to their albums.

First time I saw Hans Wenzel and the 86'ers. It's always free, but I have paid good money to see bands that aren't half as good as them. Hans belts out "like a stone" and "Cochese" better than Chris Cornell did. Those dudes amaze me every time I hear them.

That was a crazy fun summer night, best $10 ticket I've ever purchased.

Never heard of 'em, no idea what to expect, and ended up being one of the best shows I've ever witnessed. I'm not a Parrot Head by any standards and didn't really know how crazy the concerts were. Had a phenomenal time tailgating, and then we watched him perform in a downpour at the Pavilion. He acted like he was 22 and this was his first concert. Just having the time of his life with the crowd. It was such a good show, we didn't mind getting drenched.

Still didn't leave a Parrot Head, but had a lot more respect and appreciation for Buffet and the culture afterward.
