Hate it seems to be getting lost in the selection Sunday drama.
Team showed something when Pitt got within 2 near the end of the game. Tigers buckled down and built the lead back up to end up winning by 9. Pretty good game all around. Good physical game for the Tigers. Like this Girard kid. I remember last year saying Wiggins and Godfrey were going to be fun to watch and still high on both of them. Go Tigers!!

I’m anxious to see which one of the tnet coaches will be first to holler for BB throat when the Tigers lose their first game, Thus far this team shows to be well,prepared and well coached.

This is generally the part of the season Clemson looks well coached and prepared.
Calls for Brownell's head don't usually kick in until later in the season.

Agree. Can't believe there is not much traffic on here about that game. We had every chance to fold when they cut it to two and did not. PJ is playing great with another double double.

Having the lead cut close like that then turning it back around, on the road no less, was very encouraging and bodes exceptionally well for the potential this year's squad has. Our depth this season is unreal.

I believe this team has the potential to make a very deep run in dance. I know there's a bunch of games left to play and I probably sound foolish, but this team feels optimisticly different. With our 3point shooting we can compete with anyone. Never remember having this many really good shooters and maybe the best we've ever had with Girard. Seems like the pieces are there for a special year just need a little luck and avoid the injury bug. Get Clark and Hemenway back healthy and this already deep roster gets even better. I know Hemenway is kind of a liability on defense, although improved IMHO but he definitely can stroke itl from deep. Having a shooter like him comes in handy when you're down a few baskets late in games. Any way best of luck moving forward with the season Clemson basketball. Been an exciting one so far. Go Tigers!!

I posted and recommended lots of basketball posts yesterday. I’m sorry that the basketball discussion here was overshadowed by college football playoff discussion that didn’t involve us, as well as whining about playing Kentucky in the bowl game and getting an unheralded lineman from Daniel.
It’s a shame, because this basketball team is really good. I would think that all of the people here who have been such big Brownell critics would be thrilled about the state of our program.

And IF it happens - it will be - what ? - a decent year like that one other year we had out of his 13 years ?
2 years outta thirteen - IF this year turns out decent - meaning AT LEAST playing in the ACC semi's and AT LEAST playing in the REAL 2nd round of the NCAA - possibly should have to make it to round 3 . . . .
We're talking about a decent year by finishing in the top 16 . . . . that's how pathetic this is.

I was driving and listened on Sirius. It was the Pitt announcers. They are far more impressed with this team than the haters on here.

The tv announcers were really high on Pitt early in the game. Tune changed a little as we started rolling.
