Good news is we're back in the playoffs in 2024

Saw on GameDay. Conference champions are a 4 seed with expansion. Even if you lose the championship game your in. Soon we will be back every year.

This year was just a down year.

Has anyone talked about some of these teams will play 3 more games? And what is Norte Dame going to do? Do they not have to join a conference now?

This is a really big change for college football.

getting a home first round playoff game = money..so a first round bye isnt a big deal to them

Pretty narrow slot they’d have to hit every year, 5-8,

Probably have to be 1-loss for that, especially if conference champs take up 1-4, and the other SEC/B1G teams lurking about.
