Saturday 10-mile run, trip to Ealky World, pressure washed the house, burgers and hefe weissen followed by cherry crisp a la mode made with cherries from our front yard tree.
Sunday Monaco for breakfast, church, workout at the Y, watched some Indy while on treadmill, swim at the Y, steak fajitas, trip to Dairy Queen, watched a little 'neckcar until I fell asleep.
Yesterday worked in the morning, took lil'APM shoe shopping, pulled pork made in the instant pot, used the fire pit for s'mores.

Wife, pups, and I made the drive down to Merritt Island to visit my parents. Much good food and FL beers consumed.
Traffic was minimal this weekend for some reason. Didn't even hit a stoppage at the bottleneck on 95 at the GA/SC border.
For that: 11/10 will dew again

Should have been 4-1...easily could have been. Hopefully in the offseason, we find some finishing moves.
Welbz was off the post twice, you had two goal line clearances, and Ozil should have buried one.

The refs were on one side.
Kidding. Arsenal were the better team, but Chelsea played a different game from the first goal. Would have loved to see how different the match would have played out if that goal had been correctly disallowed.

for a counter-attack, which was obvious for a bit. When Chelsea got numbers forward, mainly in the 70th minute onward (with a man down, mind you) it was one-sided a bit too.
Keep in mind your two goals were on an obvious off-side and a counter-attack.
Moses played like crap and should have been subbed off much earlier, thanks Obama.

And yes first goal was an absolute debacle. Hand ball, offsides...all of that. That said, Arsenal deserved the win and probably the first goal based off of the sheer number of opportunities they created for themselves.
Welbeck's work rate and willingness to pressure the back 3 was for me one of the keys for the Gunnerz. That and how well they defended....they looked very comfortable despite playing with a seldom used combo.
And Ospina. Great call by Wenger.

Friday I left Greenville a few minutes before one to make the trek to Kiawah. Traffic was heavy from the get go, but of course things got bad in Columbia because they always do in that #### hole. Multiple times between Columbia and 526 in Charleston we came to a complete stop on the interstate for no reason at all except some ### hole two or three miles ahead tapped their breaks. We finally got there and I had a beer and all was right in the world. 1/10 for the drive 8/10 for the rest of the day.
Saturday up and over to the Ocean Course for breakfast. Talk about a view. You can sign me up to sit on that porch any day of the week. After breakfast we ditched the ladies and kids and headed to the Turtle Point course to play 18. I played ok for someone who hasn't played since last July, meaning I had maybe one or two decent shots a hole and the rest was rough. I've never four putted so many holes in my life. I did manage to par 18 though so I left feeling accomplished. We also happened to get paired up with the creator/producer/and director of the old children's show Wishbone. I never really watched it when I was a kid, but I knew a lot of other kids who did and the show one 5 emmy's. We then went down to the beach for a bit and then drank bourbon till late in the night.
Sunday we went out to the beach for most of the day. The water was very nice, but it was windy and choppy. We built some large sand castles with the kids which mostly consisted of building a castle 3/4s of the way till they destroyed it and we started over. In the evening we went to Red's which was pretty meh, but they have a nice little marina area over there. When we got back we drank more beers and bourbon until we went to bed a little earlier than the night before.
Monday drove home and cleaned up a bit before my sister stopped in for the night on her way from moving from Georgia to Maryland. Ate Sidewall Pizza and sipped on more bourbon. The bourbon of the weekend was Bird-dog 10 year and I enjoyed it a lot.

Sat - some packing, cleaning and moving, wings at TD's, then some poolage..
Sun - Watched the story about the 98 yo former Clemson prof walking in the Baatan Death March re-enactment. Purty coo. Then more poolage.
Monday - Found a sleeper sofa for $15, moved to the storage unit, met with a contractor then went to a cookout.

Friday, got off early, got a haircut and drank some beer.
Saturday, got up and trekked to Charleston. Did the whole tourist thing with SheVindicator. - Took around and gave her a brief tour of CofC (small campus...took about 10 minutes), - Looked around Marion square at the Spoleto exhibits and vendors. Bought a dessert thing - Got a rickshaw from Marion Square down to Market Street - Walked through the market and bought some Charleston Angler T-shirts - Took a carriage tour (I used to be a tour guide so this was boring for me, but she loved it). - Ate lunch at Cru Cafe - Walked down to Waterfront Park and then to White Point Gardens (i.e. the Battery) - Left for Johns Island and checked into sweet plantation carriage house and drank some of the White Thai that was in the fridge. - Watched 3 episodes of COPS while SheVindicator napped. - Had dinner at Fat Hen...which was very meh despite recommendations and reviews - Had sex (8/10) - Watched more COPS while drinking Hi-Res and Natty Light
Sunday - Beat the traffic to Folly Beach - Had brunch and bloody marys at Rita's - Walked the pier and bought giftshopcrap - Drank some Evil Twin Mission Gose and Westbrook Gose on the beach - Got burnt because I fell asleep on the beach - Returned to plantation and drank more beer and walked the property (I harrassed the geese) - Dinner at Tattooed Moose with live music from SufferinMoses - Had sex (4/10) - Watched Titanic on the couch by myself because SheVindicator fell asleep
Monday - Ate at Sweetwater - Went to Sunrise Park in JI - Went to Palmetto Moon at Town Center - Drove home and went to the pool - Unpacked and washed by #### - Drank the rest of the Hi-Res

I really just want the $28.00 out of the principle of the thing. I mean, I left the girl almost a 30% tip and the services wasn't even exceptional. The least she could do was not key in a weird number like that. I worked in the restaurant biz in college and find it hard to believe that that could be keyed in the POS system as a mistake.

Friday night - wife-of and I had dinner with another couple at a nice restaurant in Augusta.
Saturday - took daughter-of out to Banjo-b-que in Augusta. Was a cool event with 2 stages, a lot of good beer on tap, and some very good que. Was hot as balls and daughter-of tapped at around 6. Went home and took kids swimming.
Sunday - skipped church like a heathen, made awesome breakfast eggs, cheese grits, bacon, hashbrowns. Kids had 3 other kids over for an afternoon of play and destruction of the house. Grocery trip to prep for Memorial day fest. BBQ chicken nachos for dinner. Set off some fireworks.
Monday - son-of woke up with leg pain at 4am, got 2 butts on the smoker at 5am. 2nd trip to grocery store for items I forgot on Sunday. Neighborhood pool for beers and swimming. Parents came over for dinner of pulled pork sammies (likely my best effort on pulled pork...used eastern NC vinegar mop FTW), tater salad, mac & cheese, baked beans and made some choc ice cream. Finished with fireworks.

Friday: Drove down to Emerald Isle. On the way we procured Chick-Fil-A and a discontinued bottle of Smooth Ambler Old Scout 7 Year Bourbon. Delicious drink and I hate I finished/shared half the bottle. Will be keeping an eye out and pick another one of these up if I see it on the shelves.
Saturday: We had 34 cubic yards of mulch delivered to the beach house because the yard looked like donkey ####. Four guys and two girls spent 5 hours laying out the mulch. Got a nice tan and avoided beach with the future nieces. Burgers for dinner, cooked to a perfect medium rare.
Front Yard
Back Yard
Sunday: Drove home because Red had to work from home on Monday and needed access to the internet from 9am to 9pm. Went to the gym together, then had cheese fries, sausage dip and split a pitcher of beer for dinner.
Monday: Went to go get tires on the truck. Turns out that even though the service department was open.. they didn't have their tire guy on hand. Washed truck. Picked up Biscuitville. Lounged around for a few hours. Went to the gym again. We ordered pizza and watched 'Get Out'. Awesome movie for anyone that has not seen it yet. No clue why it is listed as comedy, because I did not laugh once. Bachelorette to round out the weekend

fri: went home and mowed the grass and did other various outdoor cleaning sat: more cleaning and preparing for an afternoon party at my house. went downtown afterwards to two sketch places i've never been before (or heard of) sun: woke up not hungover thankfully. Watched 2 movies before taking wifes car to get cleaned. Started working on house expansion mon: bug bombed the house while we went paddle boarding. came back to find 42 dead roaches inside and at least twice that outside. The small hole I punched in the brick on the outside of the house for the expansion had a mass grave of at least 30-40 more roaches (I dug a hole down to the brick footer right below the bricks I removed). We clean the house every sunday so not sure why so many roaches. Spent the afternoon at inlaws for a bbq (cookout) came home and watched the bachelorette.

It was like a fabulous symphony of spectacular splendor...

mostly.
Friday, left work early to head into the jaws of the beast...5:00 rush hour traffic on South of the Border Blvd. in Charlotte, to exchange trucks with Joonyer because his truck was repaired much faster that we thought and he wanted to drive his to Atlanta. Came back home, grabbed a bite to eat, took the pup for a walk, drank a couple of beers, then back to Charlotte to wee Wayne 'The Train' Hancock at the Rabbit Hole. Great show, Wayne's guitarist was phenomenal to watch.
Saturday, chores and such, helped Mrs. Tig move heavy things for her yard projects, made homemade French Bread pizza, then packed up and went to play music. Had the Gregg Allman tribute jam and exhausted our entire catalog of ABB & Gregg tunes, ended up playing from 7:30 until around 1 am.
Sunday, did a lot of nothing for as long as I could, watched pretty darn good movie I'd never heard of called Nothing But The Truth, went to grocery store, came home and got tailgate snacks ready. Around 5:00 blaquedanny and woman came to tailgate before heading to the Whitewater Center. Headed up the road and got settled in our chairs about 5 minutes before Shovels and Rope started. Had to run for cover for about 15 minutes while it rained, but a lot of folks left and we got a better spot when it quit, excellent show and then fireworks, followed by spectacular encore.
Monday, slept late, drank coffee and tried to get motivated to do anything, finally Mrs. Tig wrangled me into going to Lowe's with her to get stuff and things for her yard projects. Came home and unloaded everything for her, included placing three freaking heavy railroad ties where she wanted them. Grabbed a shower, went to Jos. A Bank to see if they had anything on sale since I'm in the market for a new suit. They did not, so went to RH Mom's and did some chores for her, then back home to light the grill. Opened the bag of charcoal that was on the porch and disturbed a yellow jacket nest. Got popped only once on the pointer finger of the left hand and it felt like my hand was on fire all night. Swelling is starting to go down this morning. Nonetheless, I put pork tenderloin in the over since it was getting late, and sprayed the entire porch down with chemical death, burned the bag of charcoal in the fire pit. Guess I'll clean the rest of the grill up tonight. Medicated with a Heady Topper and a couple of Jai Alais, got tipsy and did pretty much nothing until going to bed.
9 out of 10 Yelp stars, with the deduction of a point for yellow jacket sting. Hard to believe those little rat bassers built an enormous nest in a bag of charcoal in less than a month, which was the last time I was home long enough to grill anything. Would have been an 8 out of 10, but that regional host.

Savannah Trip
May 30, 2017, 8:54 AM

Fridy - Put kids down for bed then began packing for weekend trip. Fell asleep on bed. Awoke to surprise pleasures not many married men get to experience.
Satidy - up early, no surplus packing because not FBCoach. Put bags in car and headed down 385/26/95. Traffic wasn't bad at all. Check into Embassy Suites and get settled. Leave hotel on foot and travel to see watTF Savannah all about. Turns out Savannah is Meh. Eat bison Burger at some place with hot waitresses in short skirts (no pigs). Continue checking out city the back to hotel for free happy hour where I devour check whiskey and coke. Go to pool, then to bed.
Sundy - Up early to go to Tybee Island. Park on street. Only have 4 quarters for meter = 30 minutes of parking. YOLO, and #### that shid. We stay as long as we want. Which was just about an hour. Pack up and go back to Savannah. Stop at flying fish and get a good AF fried flounder sammich. Waitress brought us 2 pina colladas, one for each of our right hands. Back to hotel for naps with kids then back out to city park. Check out the rest of the city before getting icecream at some overpriced place with line out the door. Went back to hotel and crashed. Ordered room service dinner then sleep.
Mondy - Traveled home with Lakebum road rage because slamming of breaks and dead stop at every exit on 26 until 385. No wrecks, just stupid people driving in left lane making last minute decisions to exit. #### Yankees. Got home, unpacked, meal prepped, whiskey, #####, beer, bed.
Overall 8/10. Savannah = mix of Charlestown & Asheville and very meh but Tickle_it can have a good time anywhere (see his weekend trip when he saw FGL for Wife).

Spend Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with a teething baby.
Friday: Don't remember, beer.
Saturday: Gymnastics, dealt with the teething baby who screamed and cried non-stop until I about lost it, lots of beer.
Sunday: Kids went to church with parents while I finally got some peace and quiet from the teething baby until they came back. Cooked a pork shoulder and BBQ'd it (vinegar based because I'm not a #####). Beer.
Monday: Made a grocery run for that evening. Cut grass, sprayed the hell out of anything I would have to weedeat this summer with some very strong 2-4D. Brought the grill out of storage and set it up, cleaned it. Cooked steaks and pork chops for wife and parents while the kids swam. Beer.
Saturday and Sunday: -25/10
Monday: 10/10
Average: -7.5/10

Nice little weekend

|
Friday - Left work at lunch and went to Chattanooga with the family for the day. Kids played in the fountains and rode the carousel. We also had great food and a nice run to a beer store (finally got some Resin).
Lunch:
Dinner:
Saturday - Replaced radio/cd player in the van with oldest littlethump, had the birds and bees conversation while we worked. Bought a new grill at the Home Depot, healed up broken arm littlethump and I assembled it for later use.
Sunday - Church/small group cookout with new grill. Good times
Monday - Visited a new playground for the littlethumps in Acworth, much fun was had. Took a nap and had dinner.
Good times/10 will do again.

First part we went to my cousin-in-laws 40th bday party. It was at my aunt and uncles lake... houses. Yep... built a lake house, several years later, doubled its size because our family was growing... a couple of years later, needed more room, so they just decided to buy the house beside them too. Besides they wanted a pool and that one had one, so why not just buy it. That one also had a little boat house that they turned into a little studio type mini house.
Anywho, after that, came back home and worked on my house a little sunday night. Then monday, I laid the slate in my bathroom. For some reason, my back and legs are sore. Also, everything cleared on another house so I will be buying another property shortly.
The end.

Friday: Got off from work, got a super like on Tinder so set something up for that night. Ended up at the Brass Tap for some good views and some good beer (no pigs).
Saturday: Woke up quickly, got dressed quickly, got the hell out of that house quickly, before she woke up. Spent the rest of the day on the pier with a rod in the water.
Saturday night: Another Tinder date but this one didn't pan out due to a misplaced text message from her which I assume was suppose to go to her girlfriend. Said, and I quote, "I think I found the man of my dreams." Noped out of that #### quick. Looking to get my #### sucked, not my life ###### am I right @SwimminTiger®. Ended up at Tiki Bar and Grill with some friends. Got black out drunk.
Sunday: Woke up with a killer hangover in my buddy's house (no idea how I got there). Luckily, nothing was inside me (story for another day). Spend the rest of the day recuperating.
Monday: Memorial stuff with family.
8/10 wood dew again.

golf, redhead things (shocking, I know), and beer. Played golf Sunday for the second time in 8 months (time before that was Augusta National last week and played like ####### in the rain). Shot 80 with 3 birdies. Pretty pleased, but missed a 5 footer for fourth birdie on the 17th hole.
Grilled with brother at mom's house, had wifee and three of my chirrens there.
Local boy Kevin Kisner won himself a golf tournament.
Overall, it was pretty outstanding. No deductions, eleventy billion/10.

Touristy (new and improved with pics)
May 30, 2017, 10:02 AM
|
|
|
Thursday: Somehow my wife has tolerated me for 10 years as of last Thursday, so we did something different and were tourists for an evening in CHS. I got us tickets for the Palmetto Breeze, a booze cruise sailing catamaran that leaves out of Shem creek in front of Tavern and Table. Trip was very enjoyable as I was on a boat and didn't have to do anything but drink. We noticed a group of others on the boat who looked to have been part of a bachelorette party (pic). This further goes to prove @Lakebum1®'s theory that people are ridiculous with their ### cell phones. These people are actually out doing something fun and enjoyable...and EVERY ONE of them had their cell phone out like their life depended on it. At least at this moment, YOU'RE ACTUALLY LIVING THE LIFE YOUR FACEBOOK ACCOUNT SAYS YOU DO-- GET OFF YOUR DAMM PHONE AND ENJOY IT.
Friday: Took off work just because, and went to the marina and washed the boat. It's officially for sale, so I showed it to some dufus who low balled me and told he could buy a better cheaper one. I told him to go and do that. Later, drove golf cart to Red's drank beer, and watched New Jersey-ites and Ohio-ans and marvel at dolphin in Shem Creek. They are completely fascinated with them.
Saturday-Showed the boat again to someone else who seemed interested, and after they left, I took it for a quick trip around the harbor to charge the batteries and burn some gas. Saw a pic of my next boat that is under construction (pic 2). No idea WTH that thing is, other than BIG. It pretty friggin' impressive in it's size alone.
Later Saturday--met friends at Home Team for lunch on Sullivan's Island. CROWDED. White people love them some Sullivan's Island beach. A trip that normally takes <7 minutes took about 40 minutes due to traffic. It took about an hour to get a table and about another 45 minutes to get food. High point of trip other than visiting with friends (and gamechangers) was there seemed to be an oddly high amount of model type females flitting around. Later, the low point of trip made me understand why they were there: We saw a wasted T-Rav and Shep Rose with several uglies and attractive model types. I'm guessing these hoes were trying to get on TV or something.
Sunday-Dropped the dogs off at a doggy hotel and lounged at the pool at a friend's castle in Awendaw. Stayed overnight for grilled pork butt, ping pong, and other drunken debauchery. Did the same thing all day Monday, went and got the dogs around 5 and came home and vegged on couch. Excellent time with friends, food, beer and a pool.
11/10, would def do all over again.

Essentially. His first question was "what's your best price?"
My reply was "don't you want to actually see the boat in person before you can decide what it's worth?"
I've sold a lot of boats (and cars) over the years, but never to anyone who's first question is "what the cheapest you'll take for it?"

weekend too. We were coming up from Clemson yesterday and there was a couple in a pontoon taking selfies in the drivers seat as the pontoon criss crossed the channel amidst a slew of boat traffic. People like that really just need to kill themselves.
Finally put her up for sale, huh? Any plans to replace, or going boatless for awhile?

We've gotten where we barely even use the boat much. That, and my job is just too unstable, and if I need the money, I don't want to have to have a fire sale on the boat and end up giving it away. Not sure what to do with the marina drystack spot. I just re-upped, and I hate to leave it empty--but if I sell the space I may not be able to get back in.

so IAAS. Doesn't really matter from an integration standpoint though. Our biggest problem has been the subscription and getting on prem AD to talk to Azure without an express route.
As an aside: Tech preview 3 of the tool to extend Azure on-premises with Azure stack sucked. Hoping it will be fixed/reengineered at some point.

but we have developers that think its all "free", so they are asking my teams to spin up servers like there they are free. I guess Microsoft's marketing is working: I don't know what kind of discount we get, but I can't wait to see the bill for this stuff. I don't see how it can possibly be cheaper than spinning up servers on prem in my existing environment.

Friday - ms. midland and I drove to Dirty Myrtle. Had dinner with son and his wife at local restaurant. Saturday - gym in the morning, beach all day, grilled steaks at son's house for dinner Sunday - church, brunch at local breakfast place, house hunted, drove back to gangland (Columbia) later on that night Monday - watched TV all day (Scrub's and M*A*S*H), grilled burgers for dinner
