Friday night went with a modified version of the Concert Crew to see Ward Davis at Radio Room, it was a blast even though he didn't play Freebird or even have his keyboard with him.
Saturday, ran some errands, only accomplished a few of my goals then went to the 3 Count Pro wrestling event. I tell ya that is some great people watching. Show was fun and I encourage all to go out just one time. Only bad part is the preacher from Calvary First Baptist on Tampa St.
Sunday, had to go to the laundry mat because one of our comforters is too big for our machine. Started cleaning up the used griddle that was gifted to me and didn't accomplish much else.

Well, sort of. Saturday AM middle son and I did the Scouting for Food drive in the neighborhood, putting hangars on doors and whatknot. Then warmed up with hot chocolate by the fire. Afternoon saw the grocery runs, wife to Wally World for a pickup, and me to Publix to shop amid the milfs. Saturday also put on a nice Bhastun hiney on the smoker. Twas good that evening. Sunday was churchy at first, then lazy.
Overall 8.9/10

Friday did a quick elective case and got a patient out of the hospital who’d been here on my service for about a month then kicked off work early, cooked some cedar plank salmon on the KJ and made a fantsy pantsy side dish of grilled carrots. Saturday put out 50 bales of pine straw and cleaned up the yard, getting ready to list the house, got it looking real purdy. Saw the F22s shoot down the commie bloon. Got carnitas and margs at the local joint. Yesterdiddy didn’t do too much was rainy and cold, went to Home Depot, got some groceries for the week, had a nice bottle of wine, watched Last of Us.

My long weekend started well on Wednesday when I found out the Cinnabon in ATL closed. Screw Georgia and their barking fans.
Had a great dinner Wednesday night with fancy wine that guys like Bengaline drink.
After a phenomenal day of skiing on Thursday, I walked into a bar and saw a dude wearing a fur coat and a cowboy hat doing shots. I said to myself “Chad, he’s your kind of people. Go make friends with him.” Lots of Fireball shots followed. Night was epic from what I can remember.
Skied again on Friday. Went faster than Thursday. I went back to the same bar and met a guy that competes in skijouring. He was awesome and had only been arrested one time for an incident involving fireworks and an old woman who couldn’t move fast. The guy and his buddy have a disproportionate number of friends missing fingers. I made plans to visit Butte, MT on July 4th this summer. Last thing I remember was getting wound up with a couple girls from Pittsburg.
Saturday was another good day on the mountain. I went even faster than Friday, but still not fast enough to pass Vicki. She’s 70 and skies without a helmet and rides the first chair up every day. My app said I went 48.7 MPH on that run and I couldn’t pass her. It may come as a surprise, but I went back to the same bar again after drinking some fancy Champaign at a house rented by some guys I skied with. More Party Lagers and Fireball was consumed.
Sunday was a boring travel day spent scrolling through pictures on my phone that I took so that I wouldn’t forget what happened.

Didn't accomplish much. Date night with the wifey on Friday night. Went to try a new(ish) place and they said the wait was an hour and 45 minutes. As Ralphie said in A Christmas Story - Haha, that's a good one dad. Went downtown to our dump bar called Tailgate and ended up sitting with bro and SIL. Had the cowboy burger (bbq sauce, fried onions), was pretty good. Otherwise, not much else. Quiet weekend.

Friday: had a late work thing. Came home, crashed
Saturday: up early, daughter had a wrestling match, babysat the dogs, went to the grocery store, get to the checkout and realize I didn't have my wallet on me. Put everything back, head to the truck to find my wallet is there, went back in and shopped again. Getting oulde is hell.
Made my famous chili after getting back.
Sunday: Shopped with the kids for meal prep, came home, was tired af, see re: getting oulde. Took daughter to wrestling practice, ate stuffed shells for supper, son came over for a bit.
I also see Satan made an appearance last night. And by that I mean Madonna

Friday - Had some frat bros over for steaks (Ingles has NY Strips on sale, BTW). Had a glass or 2 of Josh Cabernet.
Sattidy - 22 of us picked up 37 bags of trash on our Adopt A Highway program from the lake to Old Clemson highway at the Food Lion. Had a chili cookout in the Aldi parking lot afterwards. Later I watched as Miami shot lights out to beat the Brownlees.
Sunday, put together an outdoor propane heater then watched a bit of Pebble beach. Had a bad pizza from Mellow Mushroom.
9.67/10 (18.373/19 on the RH Covids scale) deductions for the pizza.
Wood due a gin if a touch warmer.

Friday night: Fell asleep at 9:30 PM.
Saturday: Woke up at 9:30 AM. L-i-v-i-n. Visited the Savory Spice shop for some needed herbs and things and then went grocery shopping. Spent the afternoon cooking jambalaya and baked shells in a homemade red sauce. While I was cooking I spotted a fox perched atop a big rock in my yard. Couldn't get a pic before my dog chased it off. Drank brewskis and watched Wakanda movie.
Sunday had brunch with the wife and ran some errands. Recently I bought a Nintendo Switch, which is the first game system I've bought in a looooooong time. Purchased the original Quake yesterday and it's still a god damn masterpiece.
Watch out for those Shamblers, man.

Since there was no meat in this sauce, I cut onions into large chunks and sauteed them until translucent. Added lots of minced garlic, a bit of crushed red pepper flakes, and fresh cracked black pepper to bloom. Poured a 28 oz. can of crushed San Marzano tomatoes and a 14.5 oz. can of fire roasted tomatoes*. Added dried basil and oregano (probably 2 tbsp former and 1 tbsp latter) and like a tsp of sugar. Simmered until it reduced to the proper saucy consistency. Stirred in half a small container of ricotta.
In a separate pot I boiled shells to al dente. Before I strained it, I scooped a cup of the starchy water and added it to the sauce.
*I always keep a bunch of these on hand. You can often get them for $1 apiece and they can be added to so many things.

but the sitter cancelled on us due to some corporate gig thing. She is supposed to spend the night with the kids this Saturday so wife and I can get out of town, BISH BETTER SHOW UP! Not sure what we did, TBH. Tried to watch Wakanda Forever with wife but fell asleep.
Saturday hit the gym since cold out and did a Spin class with an overweight aging gentlemen who jokingly said "Almost finished" the entire time. It got real old real fast. I was the only person in the class who knew the Beastie Boys, mix of olds and youngs and Greenr. 700ish calories in 45 minutes aint too shabby. Lifted a few weights then ran some errands, then home. Cleaned up house and hung up pictures for a few hours. Setup record player to play through new computer speakers, played some records, wife made fun of me for enjoying beer and music, so she went to sleep and I went downstairs, drank a sixer and watched All is Quiet on the Western Front. Pretty good movie, but the English overdubs not matching the lips moving bothered me some.
Sunday up early and checked out a new church. One kid was absolutely terrible. Chewed his as>s out up one side and down the other, went to lunch and grocery store, then home. Cleaned out garage so we could park two cars in there. Made turkey cutlets for dinner, kinda meh, not bad not great, edible. Kids watched Wakanda Forever so I caught most of it now. Then put kids to bed and wife and I watched 1923 with plans to have fun afterwards. Two kids were awake and in our bed when we decided to go to bed so after I got them settled in their own beds, the night was over (YYYYAAAAAAYYYYYYY KIDS!!!!!!!!!!!)
3/10
Wouldn't do again, but it seems like we do this every weekend, so will do again.

came recommended from wife's coworker so going with her first. UNCW person #1 wasn't available next weekend so we will use her later. UNCW person #2 is going to help out with the dogs at a later date.
Finding new child care in a new town is a REAL beyotch, but having a University near us expands the possibilities.

Care.com, pay for it until you find a reliable #1 and an emergency #2 (heh), then cancel. Just have to find the right college girl, it takes a few tries but once you get the right one its a huge QOL improvement

Got toddler out of the house a couple times, other than that nothing really eventful this weekend.
Idk how you retirees do it. I'm bored to tears already and I got 5 more weeks off.

I took 2 for the first one, thinkingi had to push to close my first big deal. That happened 9 months later.
So this time I'm saying effit. Most of my customers are pulling back cap spend also so we're preparing for continued bearish trends.
Plus, the weather is warming up so I'm planning to get the golf swing tuned up while toddler is at daycare.
I'm also interviewing and trying to find a business to buy.
I've already spent a g on supplies for projects this mawn so I'm finding ways to stay busy haha

And went down under to Ram Cat Cellars. Pretty cool Wine/Bourbon bar with beer for those that only drink, well, beer. Good flat breads and charcuterie, can order wines by bottle or glass, good selection. They have the self dispensing deal if you want to try small pours of many. Nice place just heard about will go again. Ram Cat Alley, btw, is named such b/c that street used to have several fish markets and there were so many stray cats around you couldn’t Ram and more Cats in that Alley, supposedly someone said. Y’all probably knew that already… Sat/Sun watched a little golf, peeked at the Not-so-running Brownells, tried not to gag.

Housework, yardwork, carwork, errands, tending to Mom, tending to animals. If I had to pick out any high spots it would be actually going out to eat salt & pepper catfish at the fish camp by myself Saturday night, and switching out the bass guitars I had on loan from my collector pal last night. Looking forward to playing a 1999 Reverend Rumblefish 4 string and Reverend Triad this week. Other than that, it was as meh a weekend as I've experienced in a long while.

I slept well all weekend. I did a bit of cooking and ate a huge portion of pasta flavored with sauce even though my taste buds are still shot.
I worked outside and did about a hour's work in less that four hours so I loosened the old bans of my body a bit.
Most of all I gained hope for tomorrow when the weather breaks and have renewed my hopes of painting my car this spring. I'm going to bear down on finding a space suitable for the job.
Relatively speaking, it was an 8/10 weekend.

Friday after work - Scout Saturday - 5 man limit of geese by 8:45, breakfast at the Waffle House, daughter's competition dance recital from 3-6, dinner with the wife and kids at a local restaurant. Sunday - Church, then starting knocking things off the honey-do list that have been accumulating since the start of teal season back in September. Conservation snow goose season started today, so those items that didn't get knocked off the list yesterday will have to wait until April.
