We need to get this W.
Senior day for our #1 Ryuhei Azuma. Also for Spencer Whitaker and Trey Stinchcombe, who had not played much this year.
Nice weather today. Wish I was in town to watch this final home match of the season.

I think it is obvious to the eye that Lacrosse needs a major upgrade in talent if they are every gonna compete with Syracuse,Boston College,Virginia,North Carolina and even Notre Dame even though the matches have been close the last 2 seasons with the Irish but the Tigers still get way to far behind on the scoreboard to start off and have to catch up so much.Losing to Louisville is a head scratcher for sure after squandering a big lead in the 2nd half.Along with the Cardinals the Tigers can though compete with the Blue Davils,Hokies and Panthers.

He owns Fishback. Second time he has routed him in his career.
Vukadin adds a win on court 3! Tigers up 3-0
Things a little hairy on the other courts though. Need one to pull through

At 13-13 now how many wins in the ACC Tournament next week do you think it will take to get to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2013????

Must have at least 1 to stay at the .500 mark

But as far as getting the ranking up it will depend.
This win over VT will move us up to about #53.
At 4-8 in the Acc it looks like we will be in the 8/9 matchup vs Notre Dame. A rematch vs them on outdoor courts in the heat could suit us well. But the question will be if a win over ND who is around #50 will be enough.
It would have been better to play vs GT or Louisville again who have higher rankings for more juice for a win. And what sucks about 8/9 matchup is having to play Virginia in round 2 instead of having a chance vs a UNC, Duke, FSU or someone.
So beat ND and hope it’s enough and see how bubble teams around us do. Pacific zooming in out of nowhere thanks to the one huge upset win doenst help

Thanks and Hopefully it will happen where the Tigers do get an invite to the NCAA's,just been so long since the program has any kind of real success...It would also be nice to have it happen in coach Wagner's first season,it would set a nice tone for him and the program

Would be great experience for our freshmen who have all shown flashes this season. Mesarovic and Vukadin are stepping it up late in the season now. Both in great form.
