Fortunately, you don't need to be a huge guy to be effective at WR early, but it certainly looks as if he could use a lot more strength and weight. Batson, get him right!

Don't get me wrong. If he doesn't bulk up, I'll take a DeVonta Smith type college career all day long. He does show some of his traits.

This is not unusual for a WR going to the next level. 6 months in the S&C program and he'll be good to go.

I'm just saying that people might need to pump the brakes on that since it appears at least by the eye test that he still needs some physical development.

Sammy was listed as 6'1" 180lbs on his 247 HS profile and was a summer enrollee. Bryant is listed as 6'2" 170lbs and an early enrollee. Nine months of nutrition and strength/conditioning outta help Bryant add a little weight before September.

Dide, I pump the breaks on any player that this staff talks up now a days. I realized over the last several years that when they talk a player up, that usually means they are absolutely awful and will not pan out....Especially at the WR position.
