Glad for Clemson football tonight.

My 88 year old mother passed on Thursday morning and we will be burying her Monday.
As hard as it has been on me, it is doubly difficult for my aging father.
I am glad there is a game being played this evening which will provide some much needed distraction for both of us.

My Mom is 88 and I keep thanking God for each day that we still have left. Dad and my sister have been gone now for many years so I'm cherishing every moment with the last of my nuclear family knowing that time is a limited commodity.
I pray for you and your father to comfort & support each other through this time and that your relationship will be strong and a source of encouragement in the days ahead.

sent. My 101 year old Mom died last Sunday. I've been alone all week cleaning out the house they lived in since when I was at Clemson. I drove over last night by myself and caught some softball, love that Val, saw some of the soccer beatdown of BC, and ended with the last of the volleyball. It was a beuatiful evening on campus and a much needed tonic for me.
