Game situation

Nov 13, 2016, 9:51 AM

The biggest mistake of the night was not appreciating the game situation towards the end when watson threw an interception. Understanding the game situation, we should not have been so cocky with the passing game. All we needed was a field goal to make it a two score game. A field goal was exactly the same as a touchdown in those circumstances. Throwing the ball was ridiculous, regardless of past success with the throw. It should've been two safe runs to set up fg. Terrible coaching at the end there.

Agree..followed closely by not punting the ball on 4th and 1

We have mismanaged situations earlier this year at Auburn (not kicking) and getting away with it.

Didn't get away with is Sat.

Two bad decisions, IMO.

I actually don't mind going for it on fourth there. I was thinking the entire time that regardless of where pit got the ball down one score, they were going to move it down the field. I think going for it was a high percentage call, but I did not like a run play there. And I thought it before it did not work. Highest percentage play is rolling DW out with a couple of pass options.

Mich. ran almost the identical play on third down last night and lost 4 yards and punted to Iowa and they drove to kick a field goal. I don't like stretch plays with a yard to get a first down. Bad play calling.

Anybody that doesn't agree 100% that

whoever called that pass deep in Pitts territory was bad coaching, is a delusional Dabo supporter. While he is the best coach in the country........he is human.

No Dabo is a great recruiter and leader. His in game decision making is not very good. This has been evidenced time and time again. We have gotten away with most of the bad calls, but this time it bit us.
