Interesting, but I do prefer the slightly slower version in the original recording...

Releasing a new song with each full moon. New to me promotional strategy.

Yet another talented and creative singer, songwriter and musician who has turned me off because he has decided to start lecturing/preaching to me/us on his opinions and beliefs.
AMF….
PS: One thing he actually did say that I liked was during a live recording of an Atlanta concert, he was waxing philosophic about countries interfering in or telling other countries how to act/behave, he said “I seem to recall when my country attempted to do that to America, you kicked us out…”. Ah, the good ol’ days!

1980 album, Duke. Before that, I really didn't understand any of their work. Too artsy, too intellectual. It was on Duke where Phil Collins' presence became more apparent. I think Invisible Touch was the group's undisputed masterpiece. It's an epic meditation on intangibility. At the same time, it deepens and enriches the meaning of the preceding three albums. Christy, take off your robe. Listen to the brilliant ensemble playing of Banks, Collins and Rutherford. You can practically hear every nuance of every instrument. Sabrina, remove your dress. In terms of lyrical craftsmanship, the sheer songwriting, this album hits a new peak of professionalism. Sabrina, why don't you, uh, dance a little. Take the lyrics to Land of Confusion. In this song, Phil Collins addresses the problems of abusive political authority. In Too Deep is the most moving pop song of the 1980s, about monogamy and commitment. The song is extremely uplifting. Their lyrics are as positive and affirmative as anything I've heard in rock. Christy, get down on your knees so Sabrina can see your #######. Phil Collins' solo career seems to be more commercial and therefore more satisfying, in a narrower way. Especially songs like In the Air Tonight and Against All Odds. Sabrina, don't just stare at it, eat it. But I also think Phil Collins works best within the confines of the group, than as a solo artist, and I stress the word artist. This is Sussudio, a great, great song, a personal favorite.”

Poignant and good life lessons
https://youtu.be/uVXR2LYeFBI
People say I'm crazy Doing what I'm doing Well, they give me all kinds of warnings To save me from ruin When I say that I'm okay, well they look at me kinda strange "Surely, you're not happy now, you no longer play the game" People say I'm lazy Dreaming my life away Well they give me all kinds of advice Designed to enlighten me When I tell them that I'm doing fine watching shadows on the wall "Don't you miss the big time boy, you're no longer on the ball?" I'm just sitting here watching the wheels go round and round I really love to watch them roll No longer riding on the merry-go-round I just had to let it go Ah, people asking questions Lost in confusion Well, I tell them there's no problem Only solutions Well, they shake their heads and they look at me, as if I've lost my mind I tell them there's no hurry, I'm just sitting here doing time I'm just sitting here watching the wheels go round and round I really love to watch them roll No longer riding on the merry-go-round I just had to let it go I just had to let it go I just had to let it go
