Funny game

At some point we will probably learn how many snaps the Tigers had on the opposing teams side of the ball. It will be am amazing number. I don’t believe we punted from our side of the field very many times. I still can’t believe we missed the field goals. That just never happens! Lots of work to do in the off season. Next year will be the most important season for Clemson in many years. Fix it or we will become just another good football program and nobody wants that. The spring workouts will tell us if the Tigers are headed in the right direction.

According to the announcers, we had 46 snaps in UT territory. That was with 6 minutes left in the game, so I'm going to assume that over 50 of our 101 snaps took place on the UT side of the 50. To come away with 2 FGs and 1 TD was pretty poor. Streeter/Dabo need to look deep inside themselves for the play mix, as evidenced by the incredible pressure CK2 was under all night due to failure to establish the running game. Oh, well, at least we got the Swinney boys a couple of touches.

Give the Swinney boys a break. Out of what 6 years, 1 bad play. Will participated over 5 years in 570 pts, 558 place kicks without a bobble, saved several high snaps, and 2 TDs. Drew handled all of his snaps and got a 2 pt fake. Pretty consistent. I wasn't thrilled at the fake on the first attempt, but we had plenty of other chances to score.
