program on sand rather than the solid rock of high school recruits. However, they could take their bought and paid for transfers over the last two years and go all the way to an ACC championship and playoffs

The transfer portal is here to stay and just another part of recruiting. You might not like it but teams that learn to do it well are gonna keep pulling in quality players.
