LSU isnt a bad team
FSU A-line dominated all game, and the o-line wore down LSU’s defensive front as the game went along.
It's going to take our A+ game against them.
Pretty clear that they are going to make us throw the ball if we want to beat them.
Our secondary is going to be physical too, because those fsu wr’s are big and know how to go up and take the ball

FS will be undefeated rolling into DV look at their next two games. I consider that a good thing beat them at their best.

The secondary worries me. They will need to be greatly improved to cover FSUs cast of transfer wide receivers.

I think FS opened their play book up and revealed a lot on film. We will be ready. Our Front seven will cause enought havoc to affect Travis unlike last night. We will need to score some points for sure. Gonna be a great game on the 23rd.
Also FS will not have the likes of an 80-90% of a staduim in thier favor. The Valley will be rocking.

LSU is lower top 25 team due to the team's they will play. They are really a top 15 team...15th. FSU is a top 10 team, but zero chance at a National Title. That's about where it stands.

I must have watched a different game last night. In the game Zi saw, FSU looked dominant over a very talented LSU team.
They may not win the CFP this year, but they will probably be in the playoffs.

What my eyes told me this weekend is that FSU should be ranked #1 in this week's polls.
I'm a believer that polling should be based on teams performance, not belief in what they will be at the end of the year. We'll see how it actually shakes out but no team showed what FSU showed versus a quality opponent this weekend.
Imagine what a little discipline would have made that game look like. Take those 15 yard penalties out of the game and that scoreboard would have been MUCH more lopsided. That's the really scary part. LSU may not be a top 10 team but they aren't The Mary Margaret School for the Deaf and Blind either.
Jared Verse is a bad man but the best player on that defense is Patrick Payton. He's probably the best player on that team. He's a legit freak.

I don’t know. Travis got away with 2 errant throws that should have been picked in plus territory for LSU as well.

Unfortunately, I think the real Travis showed up in the 2H and that is the one we should expect to see. He even said he was too amped up in the 1H and needed to settle down, which he did.

FSU other than our game has a very favorable schedule. We will play them twice this year... I think if our D line can get pressure on Travis, we have a good chance. It is a very tall order to beat them, and we will have to play our best. Beating them twice in the same year is going to be a very tall order. They looked very good last night.
Think of this.... FSU is coming into DV undefeated. Going to be a barn burner.
If ND can navigate Ohio State and USC and come to DV undefeated.... its going to be crazy, especially if we can beat FSU too. There is a very good chance we have two top-5 games at DV this year.
Those tickets are going to be hard to come by and DV will be rocking.
Go Tigers !!!
But... if we do not beat FSU at home, fear not Tigers.... We will play them twice this year. What matters the most is beating them the second time we play them in the ACCCG. Nod to Brent... going to be a heck of a game both times this year.
