Frustrated.

Hello Tiger Faitful. CUBrad here with a rant. I have been upset for a while with this team and I can't figure out why. We played at Miami and the first two games were incredible and I thought with them being probably the best team in the ACC and we playing them so closely, something would give in this Louisville series. With that being said it hasn't happened. I know our pitching hasn't been great as of late, but today we hit into 4 DP's and only scored two runs. We had bases loaded one time and I don't even think we scored on it. I know we are a young team, and it takes time to rebuild due to Leggett not recruiting so greatly, but losing all three to Miami, Two at Duke, and already Two at Louisville, something has to give. I don't really know what to say, I've kept up with every game this year and it seems that something is changing with this team and I hope it isn't going the wrong way.

Once again, I posted in frustration because I want the Tigers to succeed and wanted to let people know my concerns and get others opinions and not some guy who just randomly posts insults.

Hey CUBrad, it has been frustrating lately. Seems like when we pitch well, we don't hit well and when we hit well, we don't pitch well. And the rash of double plays has killed us lately! Still, I keep reminding myself of a few things:
1. This team is much better at home and we have had to play a ton of games on the road.
2. The schedule doesn't get easier, but at least it places us at home.
3. We all knew that pitching would be a weakness. Its actually been better than I expected.
4. Seth Beer is a beast! But we lost our two most reliable hitters from last season in Duggar and Krieger.
5. We are taking care of business in the midweek games.
6. The culture of our program had become stale. I can already see it changing with some of these come from behind victories. Those didn't happen in recent seasons.
7. Most teams will slump at some point in the season. I really think this is our slump. In other words, I think we will start playing better soon.

No worries , Monte Lee has already instilled that winning attitude . Look at it this way , all young teams struggle and when you add in the talent on the teams we've struggled against and mostly on the road , it's ok to be frustrated .
Just support the team and be patient . Coach Lee has got this .

I'm frustrated with people like you
complaining. It will take some time for
Monte to get this thing going
with his players so cool it.
Also your opinion doesn't matter unless you financially contribute to this website.

I'm complaining because I love my Tigers and hate seeing them lose. And just because I don't pay for TigerNet doesn't mean I don't back up my Tigers, that's silly.

You have to view the complete work, looking for glimmers of hope, before falling into despair. At this point I see no reason for despair.
