Sources have indicated that Alabama has been in contact with Dabo Swinney but conversations haven't moved past a cordial stage. Alabama can offer Swinney things that Clemson can not, but Clemson can say the same to Alabama.

It appears for now that Dabo has told Alabama "Thanks, but I'm alright.". We'll see now if he uses it as leverage for a raise - that's just good business - or if the Tide come back with a new offer. But, at least for right now, it doesn't look like he's going anywhere.

Raises? Do y’all not see that Clemson football is on a downslope right now? Recruiting is off, we have no portal action and we had a crappy season to build on. Dani is overpaid!

Actually I think recruiting is improving. Who are going to be stars on this team? Look at what is going on in the 25 class.

Why do these people act like Dabo is just using every ploy in the world to get a raise. Has Dabo ever been worried about his pay? I think he's been a much bigger advocate for getting cleared to pay his assistants big money rather than working about his own check which has been pretty darn substantial for quite a while now.
